The Boss Hog 48403 Street Bandit Series Torque Converter is engineered for GM 700R4 and 2004R transmissions with a 298mm configuration and 27-spline 3-step input shaft (LT-based engines). With a stall range of 2800–3200 RPM, this super lightweight lock-up converter is perfect for performance street applications with choppy cams and lightweight vehicles.
Unlike factory converters, this model eliminates the need for the input shaft O-ring — the lock-up is sealed at the back of the turbine hub. Each unit is CNC machined, leak-tested, digitally balanced, and made in the USA for consistent performance and quality.
Upgrade Tip: For boosted or nitrous builds, step up to the Outlaw Series for enhanced durability.

Installation Tips
- Use Type F transmission fluid
- Install an auxiliary transmission cooler
- Use blue Loctite on all mounting bolts
