            In 1990, Charles Ekstam, began research that led to the development of the Fuel Preporator®, the world’s first and only fuel air separation system for diesel engines with positive air separation. Three years later, the first commercial Fuel Preporator® unit was sold.

     

The AirDog 4G 150GPH A4SPBC188 is the original proven Air/Fuel Separation Duramax lift pump or Fuel Preporator. A lift pump system is a must have for your 2001-2010 6.6L Duramax diesel. The fuel system on your Duramax diesel truck is the heart of the vehicle’s performance and reliability. This low pressure (8-10 psi) Duramax lift pump mounts to the inner frame rail using the supplied sandwich plate mounting system. The pressure side connects to the factory fuel line that feeds the CP3 injection pump. The suction/fuel supply side connects to the 1/2″ draw straw suction tube that is installed in the top of the fuel tank. Due to the fact the Duramax does not have a factory lift pump, these trucks usually see the most benefit from an AirDog lift pump fuel system. 

The AirDog FP150-4G Duramax fuel pump incorporates the proven, quiet, and reliable 4G motor featured in the AirDog II systems.  This 4-bearing motor technology is paired with the original FP high flow return base and pump assembly to maintain the proven benefits and features of the Original AirDog model.


This AirDog 150GPH Duramax lift pump fuel system will solve the infamous P0087 & P1093 low fuel rail pressure codes by supplying your CP3 injection pump with fuel, rather than your injection pump doing most of the work pulling the fuel up from the tank. This positive supply of purified fuel being fed to your injection pump will also add performance, throttle response, and longevity to your vehicle. Due to extra stress on your fuel system from either high mileage and/or additional performance modifications, like a tuner or larger injectors, your injection pump can become weak over time. This may result in a drop of performance, reliability, and fuel economy. The supplied water separator (WS100) and fuel filter (FF100-2), that mount to the pump, filter your fuel down to a 2 micron rating which surpasses the stock fuel filters capability.

The AirDog 150GPH is recommended for trucks that have a stock to a mildly upgraded fuel system (meaning mild or stock injectors, injection pump and tuning). Backed by a lifetime warranty.
