UMI’s 3060-1 bump steer kit aims to reduce or eliminate toe change during suspension travel, commonly referred to as “bump steer.” This improvement enhances handling, straight-line stability, and the overall precision of the steering system. The kit includes a heavy-duty 5/8″ bolt for the outer tie rod stud, providing increased strength compared to the factory tapered design. The adjuster is constructed from lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum hex and features a hard anodized protective finish. Shims of 0.125”, 0.1875”, and 0.250” are included. These race-tested bump steer kits are fully designed and manufactured with pride in Philipsburg, PA, USA. For specific models (1978-1988 G Body, 1982-1995 S10, 1982-1992 F Body, and 1964-1970 A Body), please use the specified inner tie rods as replacements if needed.
