The AMS Performance R35 GTR Billet Flywheel features a billet 4140 chromoly steel one piece design and first of its kind integrated flywheel sensor ring for the R35 GT-R, which eliminates the need to bolt on the inferior factory piece. We have found through our championship racing program that this flywheel won’t crack like the factory part. The AMS Billet Flywheel changes the rotational harmonics helping to stop fretting between the flywheel and crankshaft.

Our AMS SnailWorks© Engineering Team has spent countless R&D hours refining the AMS Performance R35 GTR Billet Flywheel to be the best performing, highest quality, and easiest to install piece of kit on the market. The new AMS Billet Flywheel integrates its own reluctor wheel, completely eliminating the need to reuse your factory ring, and is the first aftermarket solution to utilize this one-piece design principle.

Our AMS SnailWorks© Engineering Team built this unit to be tough, by using billet 4140 chromoly steel material for improved corrosion resistance and durability at extreme power levels. This material is a huge improvement over the OEM flywheel which is known to crack and spider out from the crank hub, potentially coming apart catastrophically. Additionally, this material changes the harmonics of the rotating assembly, reducing the likelihood of fretting between the crank and flywheel mating surfaces.

PRODUCT NOTES

  • We recommend installation using ARP2000 flywheel bolts. Torque to 140 ft/lbs with red Loctite.
  • Do not reuse the factory spacer.
  • Fits All USDM, JDM, Gulf, and European Models (LHD and RHD)
