This UMI Performance kit includes tubular rear lower control arms, rear upper control arms, new rear end housing bushings, and grade 8 mounting hardware. It is a direct bolt-on replacement that minimizes wheel hop, improves cornering, and enhances track consistency for your A-Body vehicle. Stock control arms can result in traction loss and poor handling due to bushing deflection and weak stamped materials that are prone to rust. This kit is suitable for all applications, whether you are a weekend cruiser or a track enthusiast.
The lower control arms feature greaseable bushings and TIG welded construction for added strength, along with provisions for adding a sway bar. The reinforced sway bar holes prevent the control arm from collapsing. The non-adjustable upper control arms are made of CNC machined steel mounting plates and also include greaseable polyurethane bushings with a durable powder coat finish.
This kit comes with tubular upper and lower control arms, new rear end housing bushings, and Grade 8 hardware with nylon lock nuts. It is constructed using 1.500" x 0.120" DOM tubing, CNC machined for precision, and MIG and TIG welded for durability.
