UMI’s bolt-in rear coilover bracket kit is a complete mounting solution for your factory axle 1978-1988 GM G-Body. This kit features a multi-position design for fine tuning ride height and shock location. It bolts in using standard mounting holes and comes with upper reinforcement tabs and all necessary hardware. Made in the USA with US materials, this kit requires no cutting and allows your car to be returned to stock. Installation & Fitment Note: Coilover brackets are designed for factory rear end housings only and may not fit aftermarket rear ends. UMI recommends kit P/N 3049 for aftermarket rear ends. Contact UMI for recommendations on shock length. Rear shocks may not clear all exhaust tail pipes. Optional Shock Tower Brace P/N 3055: Designed for additional chassis reinforcement, this brace ties the rear shock towers together. It is designed to clear most exhaust systems, but fitment with all systems is not guaranteed.
