UMI Performance Aftermarket Rear End Sway Bar Installation Kit- 3in Axle Tubes- 2244-300-B

This kit is the perfect solution for vehicles with aftermarket rear ends that lack a rear sway bar installation option. It includes all the necessary components to easily install a factory or aftermarket sway bar onto your new rear end. The kit comes with bolt-on CNC machined bushing mounts, heavy-duty zinc-plated chrome moly u-bolts, and extended end links for proper clearance and geometry. Additionally, it can adapt a rear sway bar to vehicles that did not originally come with one.

Installation is straightforward, as this kit is a 100% bolt-in application for 82-02 Camaro/Firebird models, requiring no welding. The CNC machined teeth on the sway bar mounts securely grip the rear end, preventing any shifting that could bind the end links. The mounts also feature welded gussets for added durability and to prevent spreading during tightening.

Polyurethane sway bar bushings are included, as the larger u-bolts for aftermarket rear ends make factory bushings incompatible. These polyurethane bushings have larger slots for a universal fit and come in 19mm and 22mm sizes.

The kit includes:
- CNC machined sway bar mounts with grip teeth and gussets
- Heavy-duty chrome moly u-bolts
- Longer polyurethane end links

Axle tube diameters vary depending on the rear end brand:
- Strange Engineering and Currie rear ends use 3” diameter axle tubes
- Moser Engineering 12-bolt rear ends use 3” diameter axle tubes
- Moser Engineering 9” rear ends manufactured after early 2002 use 3” axle tubes, while those made before early 2002 use 3.25” axle tubes. Verify the diameter before ordering.
- Other brands may have varying axle tube diameters, so check before ordering.

Please note that a 3.25" clamp is required for the UMI billet sway bar mount or modifying the factory mount.
