Description
Modernize your '64.5 to '66 Ford front suspension by installing a pair of adjustable upper control arms and adjustable strut rods from SPC. SPC has built 3° of caster into the upper arms to improve return to center with today's radial tires. The adjustable strut rods feature low durometer OE-style bushings to protect the chassis mount and allows for easy caster adjustment, similiar to later Ford vehicles. The camber curve has been optimized by building Shelby Drop geometry into the billet aluminum crossshaft. Camber can be adjusted by positioning the ball joint plate to -2°, -1°, or 0° and kit includes .25° and .50° shims for fine-tuning. Use these arms with either an OE style spring/shock or and aftermarket coilover kit. SPC's arms come equipped with a stock style ball joint and all of the mounting hardware. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
