The Skunk2 Pro XP Valve Spring Set is built for high-performance K-Series VTEC engines, offering the increased seat pressure needed for turbocharged and extreme high-RPM builds. With a seat pressure of 100 lbs @ 1.600", these dual springs are designed to handle the demands of high-lift camshafts and extended high-RPM operation—tested to perform beyond 11,000 RPM in real-world racing and dyno environments.

Manufactured from super-clean chrome-silicone wire milled in Japan and wound by a premier North American spring winder, each spring undergoes rigorous quality processes including eddy-current inspection, heat treatment, shot peening, chemical polishing, and nitriding. The result is exceptional fatigue strength, minimal load loss, and outstanding valvetrain control at high speeds.

Compatible with both K20 and K24 engines, as well as F20C and F22C when using the required Skunk2 Spring Bases, these springs are ideal for professional-level race engines operating under extreme conditions.

Important Installation Notes:

  • Use Skunk2 Spring Bases (P/N 312-05-0010) to install in F20C/F22C or convert single spring K-Series heads.

  • When using Skunk2 Titanium Retainers on 2004+ engines, pre-2004 keepers must be used. Pre-2004 keepers lack laser etching along the top edge. Incorrect combinations of retainers and locks may result in engine failure.
