Description

The combination of an excessive amount of R&D hours and fine tuning provided by AWE Tuning's proprietary 180 Technology supplies the well-mannered A6 a perfectly suited dose of aggression.

As exhaust gases exit the 3.0T engine and flow into an AWE Tuning 180 Technology equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves re-join the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

The Touring Edition Exhaust features an x-pipe specially designed for the 3.0T, and acts as the home of our propriety 180 Technology for the C7.5 A6. Providing an aggressive, signature soundtrack that will react to every increase and decrease in throttle input, unlocking an entirely new driving experience, and remaining drone-free.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
