Description
The factory sway bar is nearly immobile. So, it’s no surprise that it’s the most neglected ride-oriented component on the vehicle as people fail to look past the front coils and rear leaf springs when looking to “soften” the factory ride. The factory sway bar is essentially a brace locking the axle to the frame. It is setup to perform at the vehicle’s max load so it can be a bit blunt when the truck is not fully laden. The Carli Torsion Sway Bar splits the difference allowing a small amount of differentiation side-to-side movement before progressively engaging to add the needed control as leverage is applied. Rip corners in the dirt with surgical precision knowing there’s exactly enough rate to hold the body steady while cutting your line through the turn. Hit the tarmac and enjoy the benefit of the lighter rate bar cruising around town with the vehicle’s on-road feel reminiscent of an independent front suspension – no more intrusive chassis chatter on small bumps.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
