The BORLA? 140797BC ATAK? Cat-Back? is tuned for sound and performance specifically for the 5.3L engine in the Silverado and Sierra 1500. For the owner who is looking for an aggressive and head-turning sound, we recommend our ATAK? system. It provides a drastic difference in tone and overall volume from the much quieter stock exhaust system while maintaining a drone-free driving experience inside the vehicle. This Cat-Back? system features a dual side exit with round rolled tips in a black chrome finish on T-304 stainless steel and bolts on to the factory exhaust for ease of installation. Using BORLA? Stainless Steel Polish p# 21461 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. Each system is built from premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, superior to T-400 series knockoffs (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends ensure maximum flow & power, and precision computer-controlled CNC manufacturing ensures an accurate fit. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
