Description
Fabtech's world renowned IFS suspension design for the Chevy/GMC 1500 2WD provides excellent drive ability both on and offroad. There is zero bump steer throughout the suspension cycle that helps reduce drive fatigue while improving the overall drive ability of the vehicle. The near stock track width keeps the tires under the fenders for a clean appearance. Fabtech's proprietary steering knuckle geometry provides excellent lock to lock turning radius to maneuver in tight spots. Heavy duty 1/4in thick steel crossmembers feature OE style alignment cam pins that utilize the factory cams for easy adjustment. The stainless steel Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilovers provide 6in of lift with an outstanding ride quality both on and offroad. They are designed for aggressive offroad use yet have a supple on road feel. Rear Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks aid in damping the vehicle for a balanced ride. Rear lift is accomplished with a 5in Block and U-bolt system. Fabtech has addressed all aspects of the suspension for proper wheel travel and lock to lock steering without over cycling. Comes with a free 5 year 60,000 mile Powertrain Warranty. CROSSMEMBERS: 1/4in thick steel lower control arm Crossmembers are arched for maximum ground clearance. The welded box design of these Crossmembers provides additional strength to the front suspension. Retains factory alignment cams for easy adjustment. STEERING KNUCKLES: Fabtech's extended length ductile iron Steering Knuckles provide zero bump steer throughout the suspension travel. This provides an enhanced driver experience compared to stock. Near stock track width keeps the tires under the fenders for a clean appearance. TIE RODS: Oversized tie rods are provided to replace the stock units that are designed to handle oversized tires. DIRT LOGIC 2.5 COILOVERS: Constructed of a stainless steel body with NitroSteel piston rod for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. Superior ride quality both on and offroad. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
