Description

The K&N 57-9027 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake tubing in some Toyota Tundra and Sequoia models. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 57-9027 air intake comes with a custom molded K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the factory air box. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor, fuel pressure regulator vent line and crank case vent hose. The oversized custom-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake installs in about 90 minutes or less and requires just commonly available tools. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.

06 Tundra 4.7 Double Cab

Bought the filter-in-airbox version because 1): it made slightly more HP and 2): the airbox is a true cold air box, drawing from the fender. My install was slightly more complicated due to the fact that my Tundra has about a 2.5-3" body lift. But, I was able to make this intake work out fine (had to reposition the silicone coupler between the box and tube so I could get enough real estate on the tube. But, all came out good. I also removed the secondary filter in the top of the box, due to it being REALLY dirty. (I may see if I can refurbish it, it's a good added peace of mind). I did de-oil the filter a good bit, but not all the way. Truck runs perfectly fine, and seems to feel less "heavy". All in all, I'm happy with the performance. And Elite had this to me within 4 days (ordered Monday, got it Friday). Awesome!

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.

Bought a Motec and had these guys build the harness and set it up fully. Track car that received the level of attention and detail of a show car while here.
