Description

Launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and adding cornering consistency to your Third or Fourth Gen GM F-body is easy with lower control arms from BMR Suspension. BMR’s polyurethane, non-adjustable tubular control arms for F-bodies are the ultimate is strength. Stock stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it to the tires. Manufactured from heavy-duty 1 5/8-inch, 0.120-inch wall steel tubing, the TCA001 polyurethane lower control arms nearly eliminate all control arm deflection. Greasable, internally fluted, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR’s bushing design allows grease to evenly coat the inner sleeve, keeping grease in the bushing under high loads. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings. The stock control arms flex under cornering loads giving you inconsistent handling characteristics. Combine this with soft rubber bushings that have massive amounts of deflection and you’re left with poor performance. The TCA001’s heavy-duty construction and polyurethane bushings eliminate unwanted deflection, giving you much improved repeatability on the street, starting line, or in the corners. BMR’s polyurethane bushings are compliant enough to give you a comfortable ride and absorb NVH, while remaining firm enough to stand up to high loads of any performance environment. The bushings easily handle the high compression loads of hard launches and hard acceleration, yet offer plenty of articulation for great handling. These are the perfect upgrade for the enthusiast looking to improve performance at an affordable price, while maintaining acceptable NVH levels and ride quality. BMR Suspension designed the TCA001 to work well in street performance, drag race, and road race applications. When performance is a must, rely on BMR Suspension! BMR Suspension’s TCA001 non-adjustable polyurethane lower control arms are available in black hammertone and red powdercoat for long-lasting good looks. Installation time is about 1-2 hours. Proudly made in the U.S.A. Control arm hardware kit RH005 (includes upper and lower control arm hardware - Highly Recommended) is also available. BMR Suspension offers several lower control arm options for Third- and Fourth-Gen GM F-Body vehicles. The BCA001 is a non-adjustable boxed lower control arm with polyurethane bushings. The TCA001 is a non-adjustable tubular lower control arm with polyurethane bushings. These products are recommended when low cost is the primary consideration. The TCA002 and XTCA001 are on-car adjustable with polyurethane bushings on both sides. The MTCA003 is a chrome-moly rod end/rod end lower control arm designed for max performance where NVH is not a concern. The TCA004 is on-car adjustable with polyurethane bushings on one side, and rod ends on the other. This combo gives you great performance with moderate increases in NVH and is great compromise between the TCA002 and MTCA003. The TCA001 and TCA002 are all available in a lightweight, chrome-moly version (MTCA001, and MTCA002).

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
