Stock components, like the plastic degas tank, become brittle and cloudy over time, making it prone to leaks and impossible to see the coolant level.----The Mishimoto 2013-2018 RAM 6.7L Cummins aluminum degas tank is the most effective way to ensure your degas tank lasts as long as your RAM! The full-aluminum, TIG-welded construction of Mishimoto's degas tank means it won't crack and leak coolant after thousands of heat cycles like the stock plastic tank. The integrated cold-fill indicator also makes filling easy; no more trying to shine a flashlight through a muddy tank. To ensure this Mishimoto degas tank maintains all your stock tank's functionality, we've also included an OEM-quality coolant level sensor for the low coolant level light on the dash. This tank also incorporates internal baffling to ensure coolant stays where it needs to be, even when the road gets rough. Those with big single-turbo trucks also know that the stock expansion tank sits dangerously close to the turbo, or blocks it altogether. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
