Large Diameter Downpipe for Free-Flowing Exhaust

Typically, the search for improved power and efficiency for your GM Duramax equipped truck usually leads down the path of a complete aftermarket exhaust system, overlooking the restrictive factory turbo direct pipe. MBRP has addressed this issue by creating the 3" Turbo Down Pipe for 2011-2015 GM 6.6L Duramax equipped trucks. This premium replacement down pipe was engineered to shorten turbo lag by maximizing the amount of flow coming from the exhaust, resulting in lower EGTs and increased performance when you're behind the wheel. Improved flow means less back-pressure, allowing your truck to perform and function properly without the loss of energy caused by the restrictive tailpipe, giving your truck more power and torque for heavy-duty applications. This will also help improve your truck fuel economy overtime to help you save a bit of cash in the long run. This massive downpipe attaches right after the turbo inlet outlet which is where the gases are expanding fastest as they cool off on their way out.
