Product Description

McLeod steel flywheels are perfect for street applications where easy stop light acceleration is desired. Steel flywheels come in various weights and dimensions. For race applications, a heavier steel unit is ideal for helping launch a heavy car with a smaller engine with less torque and horsepower. They are CNC machined from billet alloy steel and have 1045 hardened steel ring gears.

Your drivetrain is all the components responsible for transfering power from your engine and delivering it to the wheels. Drivetrain components are vital to your vehicles operation.

Flywheels are used to store rotational energy from your engine and transfer it to your transmission with a clutch. Whenever you're replacing a clutch, we recommend getting your flywheel replaced or resurfaced. If your are looking to increasing the responsiveness of your engine, we recommend upgrading your OEM flywheel to an aftermarket lightweight flywheel.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
