Description

Protecting vital engine components from heat is tough, especially when it comes to fitting into the nooks and crannies of the engine bay. Mishimoto has devised a solution with our Aluminum Silica Heat Barrier. Our heat barrier is constructed from woven silica and aluminum mylar for protection of up to 2000 F of radiant heat and can withstand 1200 F of direct heat. This heat barrier also features an adhesive backing for simple installation on uneven and tight spaces, and can be easily trimmed to suit the installation space. The Mishimoto Aluminum Silica Heat Barrier is available in two sizes, 12?x24? and 24?x24? to fit the size of your project, and includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
