Pressed-on harmonic balancers are the bane of many mechanics’ existence. Trying to pry a harmonic balancer off with a screwdriver or prybar in a cramped engine bay can be a nightmare, but with the right tool, it becomes a dream. The Mishimoto harmonic balancer puller set makes removing pressed-on harmonic balancers easy with just a ratchet or wrench. The three steel jaws lock around spoke-style balancers and the center forcing screw evenly pulls the balancer off the crank in no time. The center forcing screw features a 3/4" external hex as well as a 3/8” internal square drive for use with a ratchet or breaker bar. Four center rod lengths make this harmonic balancer puller versatile for many makes and models, and the durable blow-molded case makes it easy to take from job to job. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
