Description

aFe Control is proud to release the PFADT Series, Solid Spherical Control Arm Bearing Set for the 97-13 Corvette. OE factory bushings are known to deflect more than a ¼ inch in turns which equates to almost 1 degree of lost camber and unpredictable handling. Serious racers finally have an engineered solution for solid spherical control arm bearings. The elimination of bushing deflection has a number of benefits. The camber required is reduced because no camber c hange is seen from bushing deflection, resulting in more consistent lap times and a reduction in tire wear. Steering response is greatly improved and becomes sharp, crisp and predictable in all situations. The aFe Control kit replaces all 18 control arm bushings with mono-ball, spherical joints to e liminate friction and deflection. With 108 total components this high quality kit features 6061-T6 aluminum bearing housings which feature a special, Mil spec high corrosion resistant anodizing, CNC machined heat treated 17-4 PH stainless steel shafts, and CNC machined 6061-T6 articulation spacers. The replaceable bearings are Teflon lined for minimum friction, zero maintenance and are manufactured by FK bearing in the USA. This kit is designed to maximize the performance of your race car suspension. Due to the nature of this race part there is an increase in road noise, therefore we do not re commend this for the casual street car and is highly recommended for dedicated track cars.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Took the leap of faith on buying a set of their R35 intakes and downpipes because the price was half of anyone elses plus their car hauls a** at the track. Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.

Bought a Motec and had these guys build the harness and set it up fully. Track car that received the level of attention and detail of a show car while here.
