Tools You’ll Need
Before you begin, gather the following tools:
- 10mm ratchet & socket
- 8mm nut driver
- Allen key
- Flat blade screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver

Step-By-Step Installation
Preparation Step 1
- Stock intake system shown.
- Loosen and remove the 2 strut braces on passenger and driver side.
- Loosen the 3 bolts holding in the OEM air box on both sides using a 10mm socket with ratchet.
- Loosen the clamp on the air box on both sides using a 10mm socket or nut driver.
Preparation Step 2
- Carefully lift up and remove the air box on both sides.
- On driver side only, loosen clamp and pull back the vacuum line from the engine.
- On driver side only, loosen clamp and pull back the crank case line from the engine.
- Loosen the clamp on the turbo using a 10mm socket or nut driver on both sides.
Preparation Step 3
- On both sides, loosen clamp and pull back the diverter valve.
- Remove the intake tube from both sides.
- Loosen the 2 bolts holding in the plastic air box inlet using a 10mm socket or wrench and remove on both sides.
- Both stock intakes removed from vehicle.
Install the Injen Components
Install Step 1
- Install the provided vibramount to the original air box mounting insert on passenger side. Secure and tighten.
- Install the provided vibramount to the original air box mounting insert on driver side. Secure and tighten.
- Install the provided 2-1/4” straight hose to the turbo on both sides with clamps. Tighten clamp on turbo only using 8mm nut driver
- Install the Driver side tube and position the bracket to the vibramount and turbo. Do not tighten
Install Step 2
- Install the provided 12mm hose to the crank case fitting and 10mm hose to the vacuum fitting.
- Attach the crank case and vacuum line to the intake tube. Attach the diverter line to the large fitting on intake tube.
- Secure the bracket on driver side using provided fender washer and nut. Position intake for the best fit and tighten clamps using 8mm nut driver.
- Install the passenger side tube and position the bracket to the vibramount and turbo. Attach the diverter line to the large fitting on intake tube. Do not tighten.
Install Step 3
- Secure the bracket on passenger side using provided fender washer and nut. Position intake for the best fit and tighten clamps using 8mm nut driver.
- Install the air filter to the passenger side and tighten using 8mm nut driver. Readjust if necessary for best fit.
- Install the air filter to the driver side and tighten using 8mm nut driver. Re-adjust if necessary for best fit.
- RE-install the strut braces to the vehicle.
Final Checks & Test Drive
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Align the intake system for best fitment and tighten all clamps and hardware.
- Start the engine and listen carefully for leaks, rattles, or odd noises.
- Perform a short road test. Correct any issues with hose connections or alignment.
Filter Maintenance
The included SuperNano-Web filters are dry, oil-free filters designed for superior airflow and filtration. To clean:
- Remove the filters and vacuum from the dirty side, or use low-pressure (15–20 psi) compressed air from the clean side at a 45° angle.
- ⚠️ Do not use cleaners or oil on the SuperNano-Web media.
Replacement filters can be purchased online from Injen if needed.
