More and more fabricators are opting to add horsepower through liquid-to-air intercoolers (aka charge coolers) as an alternative to more common & traditional air-to-air front mount intercooler set-ups. In a liquid-to-air intercooler system, the air gets cooled by a liquid (often water). This system requires a supplemental heat exchanger (i.e., radiator) to cool the water that runs through the intercooler. These types of heat exchangers are usually front mounted and/or accessible to fresh air-flow.
CSF fills another market gap by bringing a high performance and right-sized heat exchanger to the performance aftermarket. The product is aiming towards those who specialize in making be-spoke liquid-to-air forced inductions kits. With universal fitment, various mounting orientations are achievable, including cross-flow (horizontal) and down-flow (vertically mounted) as well as positioned parallel or in a V-mount configuration.
