A larger throttle body is key to producing additional power throughout the power band on modified engines with increased airflow demands. The new Grams Performance and Design MKIV throttle body features a large 70mm bore, which results in significant horsepower gains throughout the power band on heavily modified, naturally aspirated applications and even more on forced induction ones.
The Grams Performance 72mm Drive-By-Wire (DBW) Throttle Body for the Scion FRS, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota FT86 is the perfect upgrade for the restrictive factory unit!
The Grams throttle body is a Plug-n-Play direct OEM replacement that does NOT require swapping electric motors, wiring or mounting adapters. These units are not re-manufactured. Each throttle body includes all new components including a CNC machined billet 6061-T6 aluminum housing with a precision-honed oversized bore, a responsive high-torque servo motor, and a proprietary Non-Contact Hall Effect TPS sensor. To ensure the best performance, throttle response and drive-ability, each TPS sensor is calibrated to meet the specific requirements of the vehicles engine management system. The Grams electronic throttle body is the perfect upgrade for both modified and stock engines with increased airflow demands.

Due to the larger size of the throttle body the factory intake tube is a tight fit. We recommend using a small amount of WD40 on the lip of the throttle body as well as the inside of the intake tube to help slip it on. If you already have an intake system that came with a coupler 3.00" or smaller, you may want to consider purchasing the Grams Performance & Design G09-99-3130 (part number) - 3.15" to 3.00" coupler.

Elite Race Fab offers free ground shipping & handling to our retail customers within the lower 48 contiguous United States on most orders totaling $159.99 and higher, when the item being purchased is not a Freight/LTL item! Orders under $159.99 will be subject to a nominal $13.99 Flat shipping charge. In regards to expedited and international shipping each order will need to be quoted on a case by case basis. You can obtain a quote two ways:
