Return and Cancellation Policy

Here at Elite, we believe that finding the right parts should be easy. That’s why we allow 30 days to return parts that don’t fit your needs. Making this process quick and simple is an important part of our commitment to you—helping you get what you need and get back on the road, as fast as humanly possible.

 

How It Works

1. Click the CONTACT US link which is also located at the TOP and BOTTOM of every Screen on EliteRaceFab.com

2. Enter your Name/Phone #/Email Address and a full detail description of your issue.  This is where you include what your your wanting to return and why, as well as an order #.

3. Select Click Submit.

THE FINE PRINT

 

CANCEL ORDER BEFORE IT SHIPS OR AFTER IT SHIPS OPTIONS

This is a call/email we deal with a few times a day.  Please understand that your order is sent to warehouse center that operates 24/7 365 days a year within 3minutes or less ALWAYS.  Sometimes its moving across the belts within a minute depending on the volume for that time of morning/day/night the order comes through.  With that being said this is 100% of the time true so please READ the below scenarios.

Scenarios

(a)To stop an order somewhere in the sort facility on a belt means that a human has pulled it, its on a belt going to get weighed/pictures taken of it/boxed and possibly even labeled by now.  These will have at the very least a 10% deduction from a refund on the manpower it takes to stop this in the pipeline.  Also please note its not a guarantee that it can be stopped, as often times its loaded in a semi within 10-15mins tops and at that point falls into the B scenario below.

(b)To stop an order somewhere in a semi that has been all ready packaged and went through the sort facility, ran the belt system, been scanned/weighed/pictures taken/boxed/labeled and sealed and is now loaded in the freight carriers semi.  These are anyones least favorite and take the most effort and $$.  For these the delivery carriers charge a fee to RTS(Return To Sender) the package. This rate is $18-30 PER PACKAGE.  On top of this fee they still charge the original shipping from us to you, and then charge return shipping from you to us.  Again, all of these fee's are then deducted from your available Credit or Refund. When we put a RTS in, they have about a 80% success rate of not getting delivered to you, but sometimes they still will.  In the event of this than go to the C scenario below.

(c)The above two options have failed at this point the package is in your hands.  For this you will need to follow the normal returns procedure below for "HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM".  Please note that the above RTS fee will not get charged to you, as we will fight this with the delivery carrier on your behalf since it didn't get returned as planned.  This now is handled like a normal return.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

Items covered under the Elite Race Fab Guarantee offer a 30 day, no questions asked return policy. Elite Race Fab Guarantees items may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date and must include all the original parts and contents for a refund. This guarantee does not apply to products that have been installed, modified, damaged, misused or abused. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number, and any and all freight charges are strictly non-refundable.  Please also keep in mind that many brands ship directly from the manufacture, of which charges a restocking fee for new/un-used items being sent back.  This is to cover their time in having to unbox to verify the contents are all there as well are in new/saleable condition, re-box the item to ensure the next purchaser gets a brand new item in a new factory sealed package, as well as any fee's that they deem are fair practice.  Generally we see restocking fee's in this industry around the 10-35% mark depending on the return reason and the product manufactures policies. For more information regarding our freight refund policy, please refer to the Product Refunds section below.

*Products purchased in a kit/combo are only eligible for return if the ENTIRE KIT/COMBO is returned at the same time. Individual items inside a kit/combo cannot be returned separately.

STANDARD RETURN POLICY - 30 Days

Unless another return policy is indicated, products sold by Elite Race Fab are covered by this Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number, and freight charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our freight refund policy, please refer to the Product Refunds section below. Due to the dangerous and stressful nature of racing and performance vehicles, no returns will be accepted on opened, installed, or otherwise used products. Failure to comply with the terms stated herein, as well as those stated on the RMA form, may result in delayed return processing and/or refusal of returned packages. Items that were shipped incorrectly, have been damaged in transit, or which require warranty repair or replacement are not covered by our Standard Return Policy and must be reviewed by a member of our customer service department.

Items that are more than 30 days from purchase date, but within 90 days may still be eligible for return at the sole discretion of Elite Race Fab for STORE CREDIT ONLY, depending on condition of product being returned.

NON RETURNABLE ITEMS - Clearance Items, Special Orders, Open Box / Overstock & ALL ELECTRONIC/TUNERS

Elite Race Fab often sells items that are not eligible for return. These items are labeled as Open-Box, Clearance or Overstock merchandise. These items are sold at greatly reduced prices, therefore all sales are considered final and no returns or refunds will be granted. The buyer assumes responsibility for any and all risks that may be associated with purchasing said items. While items have been tested for basic functionality, they may have superficial physical defects including (but not limited to) scratches, dings, or dents. Should any items prove defective in either quality or performance after the sale is complete, the buyer assumes responsibility for the cost of all necessary servicing or repairs and agrees to absolve both Elite Race Fab and the manufacturer from any and all responsibility, unless otherwise required by law. Open-Box, Clearance and Overstocked items are not covered by any type of 30-day warranty or satisfaction guarantee.

Elite Race Fab also sells unique or custom order items that are often times made to order and/or are considered special order items. These items are ordered in on a case by case basis. Consequently, items indicated as having this Special Order Return Policy are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Special order items may require a minimum of a 50% non-refundable deposit. This deposit will not be refunded if the order is cancelled unless the items that were ordered are unattainable from the manufacturer. The buyer assumes responsibility that the items ordered will fit their needs.

GIFT CARDS

Gift Cards cannot be returned and may not be redeemed for cash. Elite Race Fab  Gift Cards are issued and managed by Elite Race Fab and can only be applied to purchases from EliteRaceFab.com, or our showroom in McLeansville, NC. Elite Race Fab is not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen, or used without permission. Additional payment will be required if the purchase price of a new order/product exceeds the value of the Gift Card. Gift Cards are not for resale. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Gift Card terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Use of a Gift Card is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

LOST / DAMAGE SHIPPING CLAIMS

In the event that the delivery carrier damages or loses your package, please notify Elite Race Fab by Email within 24hrs of the item being delivered.  Please note that most delivery carriers only have a 3-5 day window of time to accept a Lost or Damaged Claim, and that any reports outside of that window of time are generally DENIED by the Delivery Carrier.  With that, Elite Race Fab will always work on your behalf with the delivery carrier for a Lost package claim, but once delivered the delivery carrier will often request a Police Report to be filed and a copy of that or the Report ID to be provided as well to the Delivery Carrier within the 3-5 day window of time.  

REFUSED / UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS

Refused or undeliverable orders that are returned to our facility will be processed like a standard return; this means all shipping costs, including return freight charges and any return-to-sender fees assessed by the shipping carrier, will be deducted from the product refund(most carriers charge a $15-30 fee per package plus return shipping to process a refused or return to sender package). Keep in mind that international orders which have been refused by the receiver or deemed undeliverable by the shipping carrier may be subject to duties, taxes, customs charges or brokerage fees on the return shipment. Elite Race Fab reserves the right to deduct these additional costs, in addition to all freight charges, from the product refund. If you would like to return an item it is recommended that all shipments be accepted and then sent back following our standard return process. Refusing a package has the potential to have it refused, cause delays in return shipping as well as incur additional shipping charges.

PRODUCT REFUNDS

Once your return shipment has been received and approved, a refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to the original form of payment. The refund will most likely appear on your credit statement within 1-5 business days, depending on your bank's processing practices. Please keep in mind that only returns which meet all RMA conditions and return policy requirements will be eligible for a refund. Elite Race Fab does not refund shipping charges for returned items, and orders which qualified for free shipping will not receive a refund for the credited shipping charges we incurred in shipping your package.  A restocking fee of 10-35% will be also applied to all refunds, and the % is the manufactures discretion as they go off a per application/scenario system. Any customs or duties charges incurred upon returning an international shipment will be charged to the original form of payment. Refused or undeliverable orders may also be subject to return freight fees, duties, taxes, customs charges or brokerage fees. At the discretion of Elite Race Fab, items purchased from EliteRaceFab.com may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item's purchase price. If you have any questions regarding the refund process, please contact one of our customer service representatives.

EliteRaceFab will only allow you to maintain a credit balance on your account at your request. Any credit balances on your account with EliteRaceFab will be remitted to you within seven (7) days of EliteRaceFab’s receipt of your written request to remit such balance. If you fail to request the return of your credit balance within one (1) year of the creation of said credit balance, said balance shall terminate and EliteRaceFab may retain any and all such balances.

PRODUCT WARRANTIES

Elite Race Fab does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty. If you recently purchased a product from EliteRaceFab.com and are concerned about the fitment or performance of your item, please contact a member of our customer service department for assistance. Our customer service representatives can provide installation support, troubleshooting advice, and assistance identifying the possibility of any manufacturer defects. If we suspect your product does have serious defects, our customer service department can serve as a contact with the manufacturer to help arrange a warranty inspection and, if applicable, any necessary repairs or replacement shipments. If you wish, you may also contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding product eligibility and specific terms and conditions of warranty coverage.
