The Skunk2 Alpha Series Connecting Rods for Honda SOHC D16A and ZC (Vitara Spec) engines are engineered to deliver race-proven durability and strength at an exceptional value. Designed for high-performance turbo and naturally aspirated builds, these rods are CNC-machined from forged 4340 chromoly steel and feature a wide H-beam design optimized for strength-to-weight efficiency.

Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) technology and advanced heat treatment, tempering, and shot-peening processes, Skunk2 engineers created a rod capable of handling extreme stress and high-RPM conditions with confidence. Each rod is fitted with 3/8-inch ARP 2000 rod bolts, rated at an incredible 220,000 psi tensile strength, ensuring long-term reliability under demanding conditions.
