Mostly great exhaust system, difficult installation
This does not reflect on Elite Race Fab, as their excellent price and fast shipping were awesome. This is more an issue with the difficulty with this car, and a couple of issues with the Borla system itself. The removal of the old system was a 6 hour ordeal. Onbce the pipe clampos are loosened, there are four points where the muffler itself can be dropped. Three of them were totally inaccessible due to very tight working spaces. and the last option required the rear bumper cover to be removed, a one-hour R&R itself. Lots of rust penetrant used in the removal. Once that was off, the Borla system was a pretty good fit and the U-pipes which are separate pieces on the original system, are integral to the Borla system. But there were two quality exceptions. The first is that the Borla has a plate that bolts to the back of the transmission, and that replaces the big OEM bracket that is there. The instructions say to re-use the 4 mounting bolts, but the OEM bracket is much thicker than the Borla plate, so the original bolts bottom out. I had some pieces I could use as spacers, which was easier than cleaning up and running out for new hardware. The second issue is the alignment of the rear mounting bars and tabs. One side aligned fairly easily, but the other side took a lot of bending, prying and re-drilling to get the bolts in. It was way off. But thankfully the pipes in to the Borla muffler alligned perfectly with the cat pipes in the car. The Borla system sounds great, deeper and more throaty than the OEM, there's some cool crackling on decel, and there is no drone. Very happy with the outcome.
