Description

The Edelbrock 9903 Remanufactured Performer Series 500 CFM electric choke carburetor is a precisely tuned, quality-built carburetor that can handle the rigors of daily driving while delivering consistent, reliable street performance from day to day. Several characteristics make the 9903 Remanufactured Performer Series 500 CFM electric choke carburetor an outstanding street performer. The first one is that metering rods are utilized to transition between circuits. The carburetor is unaffected by engine backfires, which means that there are no power valves to blow out, and the rods can be changed in seconds without carburetor removal or fuel draining. Secondly, the carburetor has the unique ability to hold a tune, so once it is tuned, the carburetor stay’s tuned. What this means to you is that compared to other carburetors, the performance remains consistent and the calibration stays unchanged. The lightweight all-aluminum body features a two-piece body that resists warping and is compatible with gasohol and blended fuels. The simple tub-type bowls and rear-pivot floats all contribute to a carburetor thats reliable, user-friendly and is easily tunable for miles and miles of trouble-free operation. Without a doubt the Edelbrock line of carburetor’s are the most innovative and dependable street performance carburetor’s available. (CALIBRATED FOR PERFORMANCE) Designed and calibrated for small cubic-inch engines such as 305 c.i.d and smaller Chevrolet; 302 c.i.d. and smaller Ford and dual-quad applications such as Edelbrock C-26, F-28 and Street Tunnel Ram. Match with an Edelbrock Performer or Performer EPS manifold or other brands of similar design. Includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance. carburetors come with: Metering Jets - Primary .086, Secondary .095; Metering Rods - .065 x .052; Step-Up Spring - orange (5 Hg). Use carb Studs #8008 or #8024 if needed.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Took the leap of faith on buying a set of their R35 intakes and downpipes because the price was half of anyone elses plus their car hauls a** at the track. Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.

Bought a Motec and had these guys build the harness and set it up fully. Track car that received the level of attention and detail of a show car while here.
