The Skunk2 Alpha Valve Spring & Titanium Retainer Kit is a complete valvetrain upgrade engineered for Honda K-Series engines. Designed for high-RPM performance and durability, this kit features dual valve springs and lightweight titanium retainers that reduce valvetrain mass, enhance valve control, and support improved engine performance.
Each Alpha Valve Spring is manufactured from premium chrome-silicone wire sourced from Japan and paired in a dual spring setup using differing frequencies for optimized damping. This configuration provides outstanding stability and prevents valve float at engine speeds beyond 10,000 RPM.
The Alpha Titanium Retainers are CNC-machined from ultrasonically inspected, medical-grade titanium. Engineered using advanced CAD and FEA tools, they feature lightening grooves, radius-cut edges for rocker clearance, and reduced height for enhanced valve seal clearance. Each retainer is individually serialized for traceability and quality assurance.

Important Installation Notes:
Use Skunk2 Spring Bases (P/N 312-05-0010) to install in F20C/F22C or single-spring K-Series heads.
When using Skunk2 Titanium Retainers on 2004+ engines, pre-2004 keepers must be used.
Pre-2004 keepers lack laser markings; incorrect pairing may result in serious engine damage.
