Gridlife is up there with the best when it comes to all-around fun and enjoyable race events. It is one of those events that brings real car culture together, going town to town and spreading the passion for cars to enthusiasts everywhere. Elite Race Fab has been lucky enough to experience Gridlife for two years now, both times at Carolina Motorsports Park in South Carolina.
Last year, we set up our booth, hung out, and enjoyed the atmosphere while watching cars fly around the track. It was a great time and a solid event all around. This year though, things were a little different for us, because Elite Race Fab had the opportunity to be more involved.
This year, we were proud to sponsor Cody Burleson and be part of the crew behind his R35 GT-R. Getting to support Cody and help throughout the event was an honor. Watching the car go out each day and put down strong laps made the whole weekend even better. Cody was moving, and he came close to breaking the R35 GT-R record at Carolina Motorsports Park, which made the event even more exciting for all of us.
One of the best parts about events like Gridlife is that it is more than just racing. There is always something going on, whether you are there for the track action, the cars in the paddock, the vendors, the food, or just hanging out with people who enjoy the same stuff you do. It creates a good environment for anyone who loves cars, whether you are heavily involved in racing or just want a fun event to attend.
If Gridlife is coming anywhere near you, we definitely recommend checking it out. Between the racing, the vendors, the food, the arcade games, and all the bad ass cars around the track, it is an all-around great time. For Elite Race Fab, this year’s Gridlife at Carolina Motorsports Park was a memorable one, and being there with Cody Burleson’s GT-R made it even better.
