Edelbrock Performer RPM AIR-GAP Intake Manifold For Chevrolet 262-400 Small-Block V8

Edelbrock part #7501 RPM Air-Gap #7501 intake manifold is designed for 1955-86 262-400 c.i.d. Chevrolet V8 applications. The award-winning RPM Air-Gap intake manifold incorporates the same race-winning technology that's used on our Victor Series competition intakes. The air-gap design features an open air space that separates the runners from the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser charge for more power.

  • Manifold ht: A-4.20", B-5.25" (.70" taller than #2101); Carb pad height: 4.27"; Carb recommendations: Edelbrock AVS2 or Performer Series 650-800 cfm. Use bracket #8031 or #8036 for 1972-78.; Port exit dimensions: 1.14" x 1.95"; Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7201.; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.; Use #8504 Edelbrock bolt kit; Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.; NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.; DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings, this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread.; Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.; Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.; Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
