Description

The K&N 57-1570 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter, air intake housing and intercooler pipe on specific Jeep Grand Cherokee Turbo Diesel models. K&N air intake systems are designed to dramatically reduce air intake restriction as well as smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly and turbo intercooler pipe. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine's turbo inlet for a guaranteed power gain. The 57-1570 air intake system comes with a K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the original air box space. The intake tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less using your vehicle's existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a flat blade screwdriver, a ratchet set, a 4mm allen, and several wrenches.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Took the leap of faith on buying a set of their R35 intakes and downpipes because the price was half of anyone elses plus their car hauls a** at the track. Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.
