X marks the spot: A symmetric X-pipe with tailored geometry and robust resonators produces a smooth, rasp-free exotic soundtrack out of the ST’s 3.0LTT engine. AWE’s resonators are not of normal breed– instead of breaking down over time like most, AWE’s straight-through resonators are created with a special recipe of internals that enable ample tone control for the long haul. Patented 180 Technology®: the magical drone-killer. the Touring Edition unlocks every bit of raw nature out of the 3.0L, minus the very particular frequencies that cause discomfort in the cabin.180 Technology® resonators feature zero packing material to prevent tone change over time, while also featuring a straight-through design for optimal flow. Their sole purpose is to destroy drone-prone frequencies while providing an uncongested exhaust note paired with straight-pipe performance. Power to the pavement: Dyno-tested for real-world gains of +13 hp and +12 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
