            In 1990, Charles Ekstam, began research that led to the development of the Fuel Preporator®, the world’s first and only fuel air separation system for diesel engines with positive air separation. Three years later, the first commercial Fuel Preporator® unit was sold.

            The AirDog I is the latest design of the unit designed back in 1990 with some changes for reliability, ease of assembly, and ease of installation. This fuel system uses our patented air separation along with a 30 micron water separator and a 2 micron fuel filter clean virtually all contaminates out of the diesel fuel.

            This system features SAE J2044 quick connect fittings for ease of installation, O-ring boss threads for a leak-free connection at the fuel pump, and a ball and spring regulated return for consistent fuel pressure. 

The Original AirDog 4G FP-100GPH A4SPBC185 is the original proven Air/Fuel Separation 6.6L Duramax lift pump fuel system or Fuel Preporator. A fuel filtration lift pump is a must have for your 2001-2010 Duramax diesel. The fuel system on your diesel truck is the heart of the vehicle’s performance and reliability. This low pressure (preset at 8-10 psi) Duramax lift pump mounts to the inner frame rail using the supplied sandwich plate mounting system. The suction/fuel supply sides hook directly to the factory suction port on the fuel module.  The pressure side connects to the factory fuel line feeding the CP3 injection pump making the install very straight forward.  Due to the fact the Duramax does not have a factory lift pump, these trucks usually see the most benefit from an AirDog lift pump fuel system.

The AirDog FP-100-4G Duramax fuel pump incorporates the proven, quiet, and reliable 4G motor featured in the AirDog II systems.  This 4-bearing motor technology is paired with the original FP high flow return base and pump assembly to maintain the proven benefits and features of the Original AirDog model.


The AirDog 100GPH lift pump fuel system will solve the infamous P0087 & P1093 low fuel rail pressure codes by supplying your CP3 injection pump with fuel, rather than your injection pump doing most of the work pulling the fuel up from the tank. This positive supply of purified fuel being fed to your CP3 will also add performance, throttle response, and longevity to your vehicle. Due to extra stress on your fuel system from either high mileage and/or additional performance modifications, like a tuner or larger injectors, your injection pump can become weak over time. This may result in a drop of performance, reliability, and fuel economy. The supplied water separator (WS100) and fuel filter (FF100-2), that mount to the pump, filter your fuel down to a 2 micron rating, which surpasses the stock fuel filter system capability.
