This upgraded cold side charge pipe is larger in diameter than the stock pipe, and it has smooth mandrel bends to increase air flow velocity for improved power and lower EGTs. The 2008-10 PowerStroke 6.4L cold side charge pipe is also more durable than the OEM pipe being made from 6061 Aluminum alloy, and it is connected with Sinister Diesel's 4-ply silicone boots that are rated up to 400 psi. The intercooler pipes are masterfully TIG welded and finished in polished powder coated Sinister Gray for extra protection and a clean and stylish appearance. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
