Description

The CSF Intercooler for the E82 135i, 1M, and E90, E92, and E93 335i is larger to take advantage of the surface area on the front of the E82, E90, E92, E93, and Z4. It uses a stepped design to maximize surface area. With more surface area comes more cooling capability and the CSF has 85% larger area for 60% more air volume compared to the stock intercooler. CAD and FEA design has optimized the air flow into and out of the heat exchanger and CSF uses rounded front fins that are more aerodynamic than flat. There is less pressure drop than stock which means air velocity stays high. The CSF intercoolers use their B-shaped tube design that can be thinner metal and has more surface area than other tube and fin designs.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
