Ion Matte Black 171 Wheels feature a concave style design that is combined with a traditional bullet hole style wheel. The lip of the wheel is "stepped" to enhance the depth on the face of the wheel. Ion Alloy is known for taking race/baja inspired designs and putting a twist on the, and the 171 series puts those features on display.

The wheel is covered in a matte black finish that is offset by the contoured wheel lip around the outer edge. The center cap is adorned with the Ion Alloy logo to complete the look.

Ion Alloy wheels are covered under a lifetime structural warranty along with a one year warranty on the matte black finish. They are a one-piece construction made from a durable cast aluminum. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
