Collection: Oil Catch Cans

Unleash the full potential of your high-boost build while protecting your investment. Our curated collection of Oil Catch Cans and Air-Oil Separators from industry leaders like Mishimoto, Radium Engineering, and Vibrant intercepts harmful oil vapors before they can contaminate your intake tract. Engineered from CNC-machined billet aluminum and featuring advanced internal baffling, these are the essential 'clean-air' upgrades for any performance-driven engine bay.

Shop Radium Engineering

  • Fluid Lock® Technology: Radium's newer 7oz catch cans
feature a patented internal valve that automatically closes
if the reservoir fills up. This prevents overflow from entering
the intake while still maintaining proper crankcase venting
    to avoid engine damage.
  • Dual Catch Can Kits: Specifically designed for vehicles with
high blow-by (like the Subaru WRX), these kits include two
separate cans—one for the PCV side (cruising/idle) and one
for the CCV side (boost/high load).
  • Premium Construction: Every can is CNC-machined from
6061 billet aluminum, then media blasted, anodized, and
laser engraved for a professional finish.
  • Ease of Maintenance: Unlike basic cans, Radium units
feature an integrated threaded dipstick that allows you to
check fluid levels in seconds without opening the system.
  • Competition Series: For race-regulated builds, Radium
offers "XL" versions with a 1-quart capacity, meeting
the specific volume requirements for many sanctioning bodies
    like SCCA and NAS

Shop Vibrant

  • Advanced Engineering: These units are constructed from
high-quality 6061 Aluminum and feature a modular design
    that allows for custom configurations.
  • Superior Filtration: They include removable stainless steel-packed
    filter barrels
and integrated slosh baffles to maximize oil vapor capture.
  • Modular Lid Options: You can choose between 2-port vented lids
(to atmosphere) or 4-port closed-loop lids for recirculating the
filtered air back into the intake.
  • User-Friendly Features: Includes an integrated dipstick for quick
fluid level checks and a thread-on body with an incorporated
    knurl for easy disassembly.
  • Versatile Mounting: The 304 stainless steel mounting bracket
can be indexed 360 degrees, providing virtually infinite mounting
    positions within any engine bay.

  • Contaminant Capture: Features a 50-micron bronze filter
designed to trap oil particles and moisture from the blow-by
gas, preventing carbon buildup on your intake valves.
  • Internal Air Diverter: Turbulates the incoming air to effectively
separate oil from the vapor, ensuring only clean air returns to
    the engine.
  • Serviceable Design: The unit is 100% CNC-machined from
    6061 aluminum
and can be fully disassembled for easy
    cleaning and maintenance.
  • Universal & Direct Fit: Available as a universal part for custom
builds or as a direct-fit kit for popular performance platforms
like the WRX, Mustang, and Civic.

Customer FAQ

Q: What is the difference between a Catch Can and an AOS?

A: A Catch Can stores the oil for you to drain manually. An Air-Oil
Separator (AOS) drains the trapped oil back into the crankcase automatically.

Q: Why do I need this if my car is stock?

A: Modern Direct Injection engines are prone to carbon buildup
on valves. A catch can keeps those valves clean, maintaining your
MPG and horsepower over time.

Q: Are these universal or bolt-on?

A: We offer both! Our 'Vehicle Specific' kits include custom brackets
for a factory-look install, while 'Universal' cans allow for creative mounting
in custom builds.
