Description

What good is more horsepower if it isn't transferred to the ground? The clutch is the main link between the power your engine produces and the transmission, but all too often it is also the weak link. Many stock clutches simply will not last under harsh driving conditions or continual hard launches. When a car is making more horsepower than stock the factory clutch is under even more strain. This can cause premature clutch wear and costly repair bills. Spec Clutch solves this problem with their line of performance clutches. With increased surface area Spec clutches give your transmission more bite while increasing reliability and performance.

Applications: Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross. The flagship stage for a high powered street or race car that requires a manageable and friendly engagement, the stage 3+ features a carbon semi-metallic full faced material that offers unparalleled life, friction coefficient and drivability characteristics in one single package. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Great for street, drag, drift, autocross, road racing, pulling, rally and drift.

  • High clamp pressure plate.
  • Carbon semi-metallic friction material.
  • High torque sprung hub and disc assembly. (application dependent)
  • Includes bearing and tool kit. (application dependent) This kit replaces the OE Luk S-A-C clutch design in favor of Spec Grand Am Cup design and requires Spec flywheel to convert from the original dual mass design to a single mass performance alternative. The package includes all hardware needed for install.

    Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
