Many Turbochargers are built around a bearing and oil pressure profile much lower than is seen by modern & high-performance engines. Feeding these turbochargers the appropriate oil pressure has always been challenging. Traditional methods to limit oil pressure have been with a restrictor aimed at reducing pressure – However, this also reduces flow.

Turbosmart’s OPRt40 is a genuine regulator because a target oil pressure of 40psi can be achieved without compromising oil flow. This takes the guesswork out of the restrictor or feed and drain hose selection and ensures the oil going to the turbocharger never exceeds the manufacturer’s tolerances. This will provide you with rock-solid oil supply pressure within the manufactures tolerances.

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
