Upgrade for the 98.5-01 Cummins Block Mounted Pump

            The FRRP was designed to be a direct replacement for the factory block mounted carter fuel pump. The carter fuel pumps are notorious for premature failure which jeopardizes the life of the VP-44 injection pump. The FRRP was designed to be a more reliable replacement.

            This fuel pump utilizes the factory suction side banjo bolt for a feed and includes replacement fittings, sealing washers and a section of 1/2" fuel line to push fuel into the factory fuel filter housing.

The installation of the FRRP system has been designed with the customer in mind. How the FRRP Operates

The FRRP receives fuel under vacuum from the fuel tank and enters the pump. The fuel is then pressurized by the Gerotor pump and sent to the factory fuel filter. The excess fuel not used by the engine is recirculated back to the suction side through the fuel pressure regulator.
