The Skunk2 Type A Radiator Cap is a high-pressure, direct-replacement upgrade for a wide range of early Honda/Acura models and most aftermarket radiators. With an increased open valve pressure of 1.3 kg/cm², this cap raises the coolant boiling point, significantly improving cooling system efficiency—especially under high-performance or racing conditions.
Designed for both street and motorsport use, the Type A cap fits models such as the '88–'91 Civic, '90–'93 Integra, and '92–'01 Prelude. It’s also compatible with many Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru models, and most aftermarket aluminum radiators.
Pair with Skunk2 Silicone Radiator Hoses and Alpha Radiators for a complete, optimized cooling system.
