The Aeromotive Variable Speed Controlled Fuel Cell (18381) is a high-performance 20-gallon racing fuel cell equipped with an integrated Brushless A1000 in-tank fuel pump module and true variable speed controller. This system features the same fuel cell design used in factory drag racing programs including the Ford Cobra Jet, Chevy COPO Camaro, and Mopar Drag Pak vehicles. The baffled fuel cell design keeps fuel at the pump inlet during aggressive acceleration, braking, and cornering, while a fluted pickup with an integrated 100-micron prefilter ensures clean and consistent fuel delivery. The brushless A1000 pump provides improved efficiency with reduced current draw at higher EFI pressures and extended service life when running methanol or ethanol fuels. An external brushless controller allows for cleaner installation, cooler fuel temperatures, and improved system reliability while operating quieter than traditional A1000 pumps.
