Badass lights!
Got tired of having my face blown off by the LED lights in the new cars/trucks coming out these days. I figured if ya can’t beat em, join em, so I got some tint for the windshield and I went about looking for the most violent DOT legal headlights I could find for my beat ass old pickup truck. Now I adore this truck, and I love the way it looks (dents and all.) I didn’t wanna change the look of the truck all that much, so the lights had to be both bright like a tiny pinch of the sun and still have chrome housings with a reasonably similar layout to the OEM lights. I also wanted something turnkey (i.e. not a retrofit kit) so I really figured I would be SOL and end up going the light bar route. Then, I discovered these. I watched some youtube videos, even one that compared these to the morimoto XBs that everyone seems to agree are the best of the best and found that these have a significant leg up in output. I bought a pair and I’ll be damned if the high beams don’t light up a stop sign in direct sunlight at noon. Install took 2 hours, some of it is a bit annoying but not a bad job at all. I’ll report back if I come upon any issues down the line but for now absolutely 5 stars.
