The Boss Hog 49463 is a high-performance torque converter from the Street Bandit Series, designed specifically for GM LS-powered vehicles using the 4L60E, 4L65E, or 4L70E transmissions (1998 and newer with 300mm input shaft). With a stall speed range of 2800–3200 RPM, this lightweight lock-up converter is ideal for builds featuring choppy camshafts and reduced vehicle weight, delivering quick response and efficient power transfer.
Built with a 9.6-inch core, extreme-duty lock-up liner, and high-quality internal components, this converter sheds over 20 lbs of rotational mass in some applications for increased performance. Each unit undergoes digital balancing, leak testing, and quality inspections to ensure reliability on the street or strip.
Recommendation:
For applications with nitrous, turbochargers, superchargers, or trans brakes, upgrade to the Outlaw Series torque converter.
