The Bilstein 47-314009 B8 6112 Rear Lift Kit is a matched rear suspension upgrade for 2021-2026 Ford Bronco 4-door models. This rear-only kit combines two large-body 60mm monotube shock absorbers with two custom-matched coil springs and billet aluminum spring seats, providing approximately 0.3 to 2.8 inches of rear lift depending on spring-seat position and vehicle configuration. The B8 6112 system is designed to increase ground clearance, tire clearance, and usable suspension travel while providing Bilstein's digressive damping characteristics for on-road control and off-road performance.

The B8 6112 is designed as a matched spring-and-shock suspension system rather than simply adding a spacer to the factory suspension. Bilstein pairs its large 60mm monotube dampers with application-specific cold-wound coil springs to provide additional ride height while maintaining controlled damping characteristics.
Multiple snap-ring grooves in the shock body allow the billet aluminum spring seat to be positioned at different heights. This provides the rear ride-height adjustment used to achieve approximately 0.3 to 2.8 inches of lift on the listed Bronco application. Final height will vary depending on the selected spring-seat position, vehicle equipment, accessories, and weight distribution.
The oversized 2.65-inch shock body and 60mm piston provide greater fluid capacity and damping control than smaller conventional dampers. Bilstein's digressive piston design is intended to provide firm chassis control during normal driving while still allowing the suspension to respond to larger bumps and off-road terrain.
The included rear springs carry a listed 288 lb/in spring rate and are matched to the B8 6112 dampers for this application. The dampers themselves are non-adjustable for compression and rebound; ride-height changes are made through the snap-ring spring-seat positions.
