Increase cornering ability and add steering stability to Pontiac G8 with strut mount bushings from BMR Suspension. Manufactured from low-deflection polyurethane, the BMR strut mount bushings minimize strut deflection under high load driving conditions. Deflection in the OE mount can cause camber and caster changes during aggressive handling. Upgrading the OE rubber mounts to BMR low-deflection polyurethane bushings ensures consistent alignment settings during these high load situations. Designed for street performance, drag race, and handling applications, BMR strut mount bushings enhance steering stability of the vehicle by minimizing bushing deflection. This provides much more stabilized and predictable mounting platform with reduced bushing deflection, which reduces alignment changes during aggressive driving. The OE bushings are built soft rubber, which allows for excessive movement. The BMR polyurethane strut mount bushings limit the inherent movement of the factory design. There is no discernible increase in ride quality or noise level with this modification. BMR Suspension’s BK011 Strut Mount Bushing Kit is available in black. Installation time is about 3-4 hours.
