Camburg 07-18 Chevy/GMC 1500 2WD/4WD L/T Rear Bedcage

Our bolt-on bedcage is designed for the 2007-2018 Chevrolet/GMC 1500 and allows for easy installation of bypass shocks on a long-travel leaf spring setup, maximizing wheel travel. It is compatible with single-cab, double-cab, and crew-cab models. The bedcage is CAD designed for easy assembly and shipping, with laser-cut tubing and plate work that is CNC bent for precision. It is MIG welded in-house, sandblasted, and powder coated in a matte black finish. The design accommodates FOX 2.5 to 3.0 x 16" travel bypass shocks and Deaver's U-182 leaf springs with extended length shackles for proper motion ratios and fitment. The bedcage provides up to 16" of wheel travel and can be used with spring-under conversions for even more wheel travel with custom lower shock tabbing. Depending on the shock, wheel, and tire combination, hub-centric wheel spacers of 1.5"-2" may be needed for additional clearance. The bedcage locates off the front leaf spring pivots and requires drilling four new 3/8" bolt holes per side for the rear supports. A 1.5" access hole/port needs to be drilled in the boxed frame for wrench access, with a plug/cover provided to seal it. Grade 8 mounting hardware is included, along with lower shock mounts that capture the u-bolts on top of the leaf springs. Professional installation by an off-road shop is recommended, and holes need to be cut in the bed for the bedcage and shocks to pass through.
