Comp Cams Part Number 201-302-17 is an NSR (No Springs Required) Stage 1 HRT 218/228 hydraulic roller camshaft developed specifically for the 6.4L Apache HEMI VVT engine (2009+). Designed to work with factory valve springs, this cam provides broad power gains, excellent street performance, and strong responsiveness throughout the RPM range. This grind is engineered for 6.4L engines only and is considered the best choice for street-driven applications seeking noticeable performance improvements without major valvetrain upgrades.
This cam requires a Phaser Limiter (#5761) or Phaser Lock (#5760), disabling of the MDS system, and the use of non-MDS lifters.
