About the DeatschWerks DW420 Fuel Pump

Take your BMW fuel system beyond the limitations of a conventional replacement pump with the DeatschWerks DW420. Designed for high-flow applications, the DW420 delivers 420 LPH at its specified test conditions while maintaining a relatively flat flow curve as operating pressure increases.

Its composite turbine impeller provides quiet operation and supports compatibility with pulse-width-modulated fuel pump control systems. DeatschWerks also uses carbon commutators and a fully encapsulated armature to help protect internal electrical components from ethanol exposure.

The pump's armature is computer-balanced to reduce vibration, while its high-pressure-focused design makes it suitable for demanding performance builds.

DeatschWerks subjects its pump designs to extensive endurance testing, including 1,000 hours of bench testing in multiple fuels, followed by real-world vehicle evaluation. Individual pumps are also flow-tested before packaging.

For E36 and E46 enthusiasts building a modified street car, track-focused M3, or high-output forced-induction setup, the DW420 offers substantial fuel delivery capacity with application-specific installation components.
